USEL are celebrating after moving to new premises in Anderson House in Market Street.
The organisation first opened its doors in Omagh in 2007 and the move to larger premises was prompted by the growing demand for USEL’s services from the local community.
USEL is the largest employer of disabled people in Northern Ireland and are committed to providing the training and development needed to expand the choice of employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Each year the organisation supports over 1200 disabled people in more than 600 companies to enter and sustain paid employment through their various employment programmes.
Since moving to Omagh the organisation has grown significantly and now supports a growing number of disabled people in the local area.
Siobhan Quinn, USEL’s Employment Services Officer who heads the Omagh office commented “We had found that an increasing number of disabled people are unaware of the help there is available to them. We provide a number of employment related services ranging from training and development support to financial assistance to accredited employment related qualifications, and we would encourage anyone with a disability or health condition to call in and make use of our services.”
