| A Word from our retiring Chaiman David Russell |

Mr David Russell retires as Chairman on 30th August 2006 after six and a half years service. David has summarised his thoughts: "It has been a privilege to be involved with USEL for the last six and a half
years, and to see the company expand and diversify into new areas of employment
for disabled people.
The last six years have been a success story that any company would be proud
of, and I have every confidence that Sam Humphries, the new Chief Executive,and
his Management Team, supported by Patrick Bogues, the new Chairman and his
Board, will continue this success into the future.
The Department of Employment and Learning can be justifiably proud of the
achievements of USEL and are to be congratulated on their continued support
of the company".
The Board, Management and staff of USEL wish David well and although the words seem too little, would want to say thank you for the leadership over the past six and a half years.
