USEL (Ulster Supported Employment Ltd) is a Non-Departmental Public Body concerned with providing employment and training for people with disabilities and health related difficulties. USEL provides employment within its manufacturing base in Cambrai Street, Belfast and through the provision of ‘Employment Support’ and Job Broker’ services throughout Northern Ireland. USEL provides these programmes under the direction of the Training and Employment Agency’s Disablement Advisory Service, which determines the organisations primary role as a service delivery agent for the Department for Employment and Learning.

As a Public Authority USEL is committed to fulfilling its statutory obligations in compliance with Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998. To this end USEL’s Equality Scheme sets out this commitment, detailing procedures and steps it will take to ensure equality of opportunity for all. The Equality Commission has approved the scheme.
